James R. Gordon, M.D.

James R. Gordon, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery (eyelid and facial cosmetic/reconstructive surgery). He has a particular expertise in the more challenging cases. Dr. Gordon has published numerous articles about facial plastic surgery and has given many lectures on cosmetic facial and eyelid procedures. During his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, Dr. Gordon founded the Cosmetic Clinic of Cabrini Hospital. He has been involved in the research and development of the FriendlyLight® erbium laser, the world’s first portable erbium laser for skin resurfacing. Dr. Gordon does his best to restore and enhance his patients’ appearance while preserving a natural look.
